Invention of the now-famous Tai and Rosita, the MISSONI style is the fruit of the couple’s successful partnership. After marrying, 1953 the two began making knits in a small workshop in Gallarate which they created from the basement rooms of their first home.
The MISSONI signature is the put-together of zigzags and stripes, wave designs and flame effects. Unique patchworks of geometric and floral jacquards. Exquisite figurative or abstract motifs inspired by nature, by art and architecture, by different customs and cultures.
